This patch makes labels of sockets without field, connected or outputs, drawn with the socket color. Based on the design of Pablo Vazquez (pablovazquez) https://ui.pablovazquez.art/ NOTE: Pablos mockup doesn't solve for labels that are within or above input fields.

Comment Actions I agree this is too distracting, and in big node groups, this will make text hard to read if every line of text is a different color. Comment Actions To me this is just way too much visual distraction. And I'm not sure it brings much benefit. It may look good in minimal examples, but for complex node trees it just makes it a node christmas tree. There's also the question about dark colored node sockets and ones using transparency. You'd barely see the text. Comment Actions Maybe instead of making the hole text as the dot color only the stroke around it? how it will look like |
