Was there any reason to remove NumPad Emulation ?

Also not sure why you're linking to index directly?

  1. about deleting numpad emulation: i believe the Numpad part is redundant and is already addressed in /preferences/input.html#numpad-emulation
  2. about adding index: When i make the manual i get unknown document warnings. These warnings go away when i add the "/index". I am currently working directly on our server which is a debian-linux. Maybe i have something configured wrong?

@Gaia Clary (gaiaclary) can you not mix in too many issues with patches?

Makes review a hassle and means we cant just accept obvious improvements when mixed with unrelated random changes.

Redundant sections can be removed. Just make sure any information isnt lost (or move when de-duplicating).

However the section is named input_devices.rst and you kept Mouse Button Emulation,
Im not sure what the rationale is here, to keep one and not another.

Probably best to move/deduplicate Mouse Button Emulation into user-prefs too,
But it would be good to link those docs from this page, since its related.

This section is common shortcuts specifically for buttons

Moving here am not sure about, but it should be re-titled.

Also what version of sphinx are you using?

Would rather keep this, but move to troubleshooting.

Also the text is much more detailed then needs to be. One line explaining a memory allocation failed should be enough.

This revision now requires changes to proceed.Feb 3 2015, 8:02 AM

Enumerating each layout is overkill, but think its fine to note that there are multipe layouts, each named based on workflows they are set up for. (unless we already do this elsewhere)

Can this be closed? the patch no longer applies and a lot of changes have been made since this patch to these areas.

Aaron Carlisle (Blendify) set the repository for this revision to rBM Blender Manual.

I believe this has been "forgotten" and no longer applies. So i close it.
