i have modified the Startup addon for Generate Torus mesh.

for define the section angle and section twist.

this video is old, but i have update the script of the last version i found in the 1.93

this script can also geenrate a special one ribbon uv map, because with some twist you can have only one ribbon for the full torus.

the last dialog look like that :

you can see two fields added under "mode" who are :

• section angle
• section twist

i think this code can be usefull, but not sure if its required by community.
this is what i wanted to do when i created a simple torus.
i found the default addon not usefull in some cases
