Summary

Partially reverts rB46ae0831134 now that we have a new version of
OSL/OIIO that supports <UVTILE> directly.

Planning on submitting to 3.2 branch. Is that alright?

Cleanups should be done in 3.3 I think, not sure what the benefit would be in 3.2.
