Summary

This helps ensure ctests can continue without user intervention, but is
perhaps also useful in other cases like crashes on Windows render farms.

I didn't test this by the way, but I believe it should help.

I'm pretty sure this just gets rid of the windows error reporting dialog? for the assert window looks like something else might be needed
