It is crashing when you try to use the save and new or discard and new button. I think it's because i'm trashing the operator pointer on accident.

This patch has been lying around for quite a while, for something I at least consider quite a high priority item.
Probably it doesn't even apply correctly now, but maybe there's a pointer we can give to @Eric Fode (ericfode).
