This is the mostly working fix for T57746. As I mentioned in the comments there, adding the callback to handle shift-clicking causes some of the disclosure buttons to completely cease functioning. From the default scene, this means that the "Cube" and "Lamp" disclosure buttons won't work. Removing the UI_but_func_set makes the disclosure buttons work, but obviously shift-clicking behaviour is lost.
