Summary

This is a request by @Hjalti Hjálmarsson (hjalti). It was confusing that it is
not consistent currently. He asked me to make alpha over
the default blend mode.

I'm not very used to the sequencer, so I'm not sure if there
are cases when cross makes more sense. In my simple tests
I could not see a difference between cross and alpha over.

Event Timeline

Not exactly sure, but cross blend mode will fade alpha channel with opacity, while alpha over will not.

Alpha over as default is ok I guess.

@Brecht Van Lommel (brecht), any objections?

Fine with me.

For two opaque images, Alpha Over and Cross do the same thing. If there is alpha involved, I expect it's more often needed to do an Alpha Over than to crossfade from one image to the other.
