Details

Summary

Before there were two options: Paste to original layer called "Paste" and Paste to active layer called "Paste & Merge"

Now, by default the paste is in active layer and the "Paste & Merge" has been renamed "Paste".

For old "Paste", now is called "Paste by Layer" and it's not the default value anymore.

Agree with both changes:

  • Paste all the copied element to the active layer by default is what the user would expect.
  • The new name 'Paste by Layer' define better what the other paste mode does: Paste the element mantaining their original layers.

I would keep the paste icon but only for the default paste option.
