With the changes to the font binaries committed (dc3f073d1c52), the variable width fonts now have an ellipsis that is as narrow as the "two-dot leader" character we are currently using for line continuation character.

Therefore this patch switches continuation character to ellipsis. Previously approved as part of https://developer.blender.org/D6055 but I wanted this change separate from the others.
