Currently Blender has the option to either:
- Render the full frame range of the scene
- Viewport render the full frame range of the scene
- Viewport render a preview range
This revision adds an option in Output Properties to render the preview range.
This is useful because when the timing of the scene is already determined, you would have to overwrite that frame range in order to do a test render of only a portion of it, thus losing the information about when the scene is supposed to end. It's analogous to having to change your scene's resolution, rather than having the "render region" option.
