Thanks for the report. Please share the alembic file you're using

file is so huge. I can upload it on senspace if you want

Hi, please simplify file as much as possible. we require the bug reporter to narrow down the problem.
Normally .blend files can be simplified by removing most objects and disabling settings, until the problem reveals itself more clearly.

Thanks for these files. What is the exact way to redo the crash btw?
What I've done is: import alembic in default scene -> Add GN tree -> Enable motion blur -> Switch to viewport render

Hi, please provide the requested info

I can't reproduce a crash. The BUG MB.blend file renders fine for me. I also tried importing test splash render.abc and rendering it in Cycles/EEVEE with motion blur. But no crash for me.

We ened more specific instructions on how to trigger the crash.

Thanks @Martijn Versteegh (Baardaap). I'll close this task for now due to inactivity.
