Short description of error
when manipulating in the timeline the keyframed offset of an imported reference image sequence blender crashes. (when working this can be very useful for retiming video referece for animation)

as a side note when working with an image sequence as camera background everything works as expected

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
move the keyframe in the attaached blend file


(sample image sequence)

from default:
*import image sequende either by drag and drop or through context menu.
*Under Object Data Properties change Source to Image Sequence.
*Add Keyframe to Offset
*Move the keyframe
*Move the timeline
*Move keyframe again, blender crashes

Could you provide the image sequence used? (the file provided does not have these images).
I can't reproduce the problem with the images I have available.

I'm very sorry, I forgot to disable all add-ons before trying to nail down the error. With all add-ons disabled everything works as expected and the crash no longer occurs. I will try to find the add-on causing the error and contact the publisher. But I think the task can be closed. This was my first bug report, will be more cautious next time.

No activity for more than a week. As per the tracker policy we assume the issue is gone and can be closed.
