enable "Shadow" in Viewport Shading

I see no such button, when I start with default startup file. This is only available with workbench engine with solid shading. Is this what I should enable? I get no crash in such case.

Please run file blender_debug_log.cmd located in folder with blender.exe file. after crash, upload created files.
