Short description of error
Viewer node is not show up

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
When I click Shift+Ctrl+LMB the output of the node just connects to Material output but the viewer node does not show up

Seems viewer node is not required now? It just works fine without viewer node


i am not a blender dev, maybe someone else has a better explanation

Seems like that is the case, but not exactly sure when this was removed. Will close since this seems to be intentional change.
