Worked: (newest version of Blender that worked as expected)

Short description of error
If I want to pick a color in th workspace the eye dropper is not displayed, but it works I mean it samples the color

Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
Simple cube, go to material editor, click on base color, click on the eye dropper, try to sample from the viewport. I can sample the color but the eye dropper icon is not displayed

I can't replicate the problem with the steps described.

I can replicate something similar if I use multiple windows or move the eyedropper cursor quickly out and in the window.
But this is a known issue and, for now, we don't have a dedicated developer to address these OS issues.

@Piergiorgio (Piergiorgio_PG), can you test with factory settings?
Go to File → Defaults → Load Factory Settings and then check if you still can reproduce this issue.

If the problem persists, please give us more clear instructions on how to reproduce it.

No activity for more than a week. As per the tracker policy we assume the issue can be closed.

I'll assume it's the same issue as the cursor not keeping the same when switching between windows.
