Short description of error
The screen freezes, the program still runs fine, yet nothing you do will be displayed on the screen. And also, often times there are random icons showing on the buttons or on the mouse cursor (the random icons are blue)
Exact steps for others to reproduce the error
I haven't found a certain path for the bug to show up, it appears randomly

Does freeze occur in particular .blend file? Could you check again with factory setttings: File → Defaults → Load Factory Settings
