Operating system: Microsoft Windows 10 Pro
Graphics card: NVIDIA Quadro 2000

Blender Version
Broken: 3.0.2
Worked: Unable to get past Norton Security

When I run setup, I am given a SYSYTEM MESSAGE - CRITICAL ERROR #120s4342
Norton Security will give me warnings of MALWARE and provides me a .temp file that is a THREAT and has been blocked.

I asked NORTON to allow the .temp files but the SYSTEM MESSAGE still appears.

Please advise on the process.

Do I need to DONATE to your company before trying to download this software?
Is there a different way to get the download file that does not have these termed MALWARE files?

Where did you download Blender from? You can get it via blender.org for free and there is no malware in it. Your scanner likely reports a false positive.

Thomas, I downloaded from what I thought was your companies website. I have followed your instructions and it has worked.
