On a dense mesh, with the clay brush, for example, with or without the stabilize stroke option
The stroke on the left is drawn in perspective mode. The stroke is jagged. Poor quality
The stroke on the right is drawn on ortho mode. Good quality
It's not clear if this issue is actually a bug.
Quality of stroke depending on distance can be a limitation.
As well as performance issues, potential improvements in the quality of a stroke is not something that can handled as bug reports.
Also this report does not contain all the requested information, which is required for us to investigate the issue.
