blender 2.5a doesn't start

Description

when I try to open blender does not start and gives me error in visual c++ runtime library, I installed pyton 2.5.4 and Microsoft runtime library 2005 and 2008.

the program takes off with a perfectly on older computers where they are not installed it pyton and runtime lib VC

the computer where the blender run correctly has a Pentium 32 the one where it doesn't start has an Athlon 64

Try installing python 2.6(latest), this is the version blender is now using.

Hi, have you installed the "Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistribution Package (x64)" that is linked on the blender.org download page? This is required for later releases of Blender

I have installed
opengl 3.2.0 and
python 3.1.1
and now it works
