COLOR MANAGEMENT: Corrupts motion picture files
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Summary: AVI / MOV and other movie files exhibit signs of extraordinary patches in compression. When tested with color management turned off, the motion picture files display normally.

Version: SVN 26259

Platform: Linux amd64 (Ubuntu 9.10)

Reproduction: 1) Switch to compositor. 2) Load a movie with blacks present into an image node. 3) Pipe output to viewer node with color management on. 4) Compare against same image with color management off.

Additional Information: With sample supplied, observe noticeable 'hot' artifacts near fringes of objects with color management on. With color management off, display is as expected.
