2-group them (ctrl+g)
3-expand this group
-There is no UI in the node's header to "un-expand" the group
-when expand, the nodes are note updated with the correct value (for sure the "Value" node)
-Viewer outside the node group is not updated by the group output
-impossible to select node outside an expanded group

I don't see any bug here? The fact that there is no UI, well it's in the menu and the tab key can be used, just like edit mode, meta strips in the sequencer, .. . When going into a group, you are editing the original group, not the instance of the group, so you will see the original values, consider that the group may be used in multiple places. Nodes outside the expanded group indeed cannot be selected or edited, that's intentional, a limitation that would be good to remove but not a bug.
