Description

Folders with ".blend" on the end are processed like .blend files.

It can causes a few different glitches.

- When opening the folder in the blender file browser it has the .blend icon.
- Sometimes you cannot export different files with the same name (folder(test.blend))(file(test.3ds))
- More bugs dirive..

Ive added a picture, and a zip file with the folder and file.

Windows XP Home.

The second part of your report:

Please report this separately and give exact steps on how to redo the bug, the description is far to vague, the 3rd point also.

"More bugs dirive" = Blender has a problem differenciating (lol word) from folders with ".blend" on the end, and .blend files, "in some way".. More bugs like the 3ds export will probably dirive from the core problem causing the bug.
