Cannot save user prefereces in 2.53 beta win 64-bit

Description

Cannot save your perferences in 2.53beta 64-bit windows version. Works in the 32 bit version. Startup window shows; Trying to save homefile at c:\PROGRAM~1\BLENDE~1.53-\2.53\config\startup.blend.

In blender it also says permision denied, but the file name given here is startup.blend@ in same directory as listed above. Tried creating a default file under this name with open persissions, but get the same error.

Hmm, I've been able to save user preferences normally on my Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit machine.

I just updated my graphicall builds, could you try those please? They are built from r31618. You can find them easiest through http://www.letworyinteractive.com/b/ - on the right sidebar at the top.

I'll leave this report for a few more days open, without any reply in the negative I assume the issue has been solved.
