Description

Start Blender.In View select the folder with *.bmp files.
IrfanView and File Explorer is not crashed.

On lnux, 64bit it doesnt crash, but it wont load the file either.

On Windows 7 64bit no crash either with r32309. I do get the message "Unknown fileformat"

On Blender 2.54.0 r32333 is not crashed, but is not load this front.bmp file as background and thumb.
