Playhead position in edit strip panel only updates when mousing over widgets

Description

The playhead position number in the "Edit Strip" panel for properties only updates while playback the animation when mousing over widgets.

Steps:

- Switch layout to "Video Editing"
- Add a movie strip
- Alt-A to start playback
- Mouse over widgets while playing back and keep an eye on the "Playhead:" label

Ideally, I figure that the UI should be be updating the playhead label either in real-time or not at all, while playing back a clip.

I am using Ubuntu 10.10 64bit with r33833

The ALT+A option currently uses a hardcoded default for playing back, limiting it to the active region and one 3d window and timeline. The issue you describe is for any property window true.
Starting animation play with timeline has much better control. Also when using alt+a in timewindow.
