Don't know how to explain this, but the mirror modifier's giving me strange visual glitches. Queer shades appear in buttons (both properties and tools) that don't normally, and can't see the properties for the modifier itself. You can check the screenshot.

Whoops, I forgot to mention (how do I edit the bug report?)
I'm running Blender 2.56a, Windows XP SP3. No graphics card (using motherboard graphics inbuilt)
There's not enough information in this report for us to investigate, from the bug submission page:
Mentioning you have an error is not sufficient, make sure others can repeat this.
Always mention your OS version, 3D card type and Blender version.
Own compiled versions: include svn version nummer from splash screen. Don't forget to test our official release too.
Don't provide long recipies, find the minimum amount of instructions showing us how to redo it.
Important: attach the simplest possible .blend file that shows the issue!
@Brecht: I did! I just didn't know HOW to edit my bug-post (I pressed "send" too soon) so I mentioned them in a following comment. Here's what is says in case you didn't notice.

I'll attach the .blend file here.
Tushant: this is definitely an error in your opengl drivers. Intel on-board graphics is renowned for bad opengl support...
Moving to opengl tracker, please report back if your issue got solved with a driver update?
Just a note: I think the PC I tried on was AMD, not Intel (not sure though, I'll confirm it soon).
I got the bug while working on Blender on a PC at a friend's cafe, and I thought the drivers were up to date (well Windows was at least). I won't be at the cafe for another 15 hours to check the drivers, however I will try the same on my production computer (running Windows 7) at home and let you know how it goes.
Update:
Works fine on my production comp with AMD Athlon x2 processor and GeForce 9600, Windows 7. No glitch or errors.
But the errors DO appear at the cafe PC with old AMD Athlon with standard display (no graphics card). No idea what graphics drivers it needs but I'll take a look this evening.
