Zoom oddity in camera-view
Closed, ArchivedPublicTO DO

Description

Here a aa.blend (made on Windows XP Pro SP3 with 2.56a, containing some of my exercise-tests.

All regular known zooming methods function as described and expected. With one strange exception: when in camera-view, CTRL-MMB-drag DOES NOT ZOOM.
Scrolling the wheel, +, -, do zoom. And SHIFT-MMB-drag does pan ...Why the exception?

One of its objects is a "Cubefrom plane". It was indeed made by Z-extracting a plane. I was able to change its name but find no way to change the name of its mesh accordingly. Has it to stay "plane" ? My fault of course...

I might mention one other issue, which is certainly not a bug but rather a request. Only the color of face-surface-figures can be set. I think it might be usefull to make it also possible to set colors for edge-lengths and angle-degrees. Let me go even one question further and ask for sums of surfaces and lengths... Also for UV-seams and surfaces? :-))

Well this has just not be coded :) things dont work automatic! And, since almost all mouse devices have scrollwheels, thats a bit of default we do implement.

Names of objects and meshes can be set in properties editor, using the right tabs...
