Graphic card nvidia GeForce 4, no hardware acceleration.
Description
Event Timeline
We have several reports in from people using Intel cards on opening a 2nd window.
Nvidia GeForce 4 already exists since 2002, which one you use, and why without hardware accelleration?
Typically nvidia cards work great with Blender.
Anyway, for a bug to be fixable for our team we need to be able to reproduce it, and for that we don't have enough info...
(moved report to opengl issue tracker)
The card is a GeForce 4 420 Go. I can't use hardware acceleration because the nvidia driver doesn't work properly (I only see a white screen).
In our builds is a software-gl startup script, which requires Mesa GL. Did you check this?
Getting nvidia drivers to work in Linux should be well possible though, they're known for working good in Linux.
The window works properly with blender-softwaregl, but Blender becomes slower with big scenes.
I'll do some troubleshooting to get the driver to work.
Thank you
