Event Timeline

Hi,

Sad that the vendor now blames the software developers. The fact totally different programs (Maya, Blender, Gimp) - who dont share any code - don't work means they're not using similar driver methods as other tablets do.

Maya/Gimp developers also put a lot more effort in this than Blender does... so the fact it doesnt work for these programs means the tablet is not complying much to standards.

I can keep track of similar reports, but we can't do anything on it really.
Out of curiosity; which programs do work with this? Any OS program? (also closed reports I reply to :)

Ton Roosendaal (ton) changed the task status from Unknown Status to Archived.Apr 9 2011, 6:37 PM

Photoshop and most likely some of the Autodesk tools work with the tablet.
I guess handwriting support is there, but that does not really on any pressure sensitivity.
OS is Windows(Vista/Win 7).
If this is closed as "duplicate", where is the original bug located then? O.o

No it's not closed as duplicate... we just can't solve bugs related to system drivers or system libraries.

Will assign this to Nathan as reminder, he sees to have a trust tablet too.

I have a Trust Slimline Widescreen tablet. For me pressure sensitivity works fine with latest RC for Blender 2.57 and current trunk.

Looked at the trust site, apparently your driver Nathan is 8 days "newer" than mine.
We also have a different model.
Seems quite odd....... :(
