The render presets for Blender provided here match the sequence and composition settings predefined in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. By using these presets, the synthesized imagery can be easily profiled for compatibility with a wide range of content formats used by the video industry. Referenced are from typical web formats and PAL D1/DV Widescreen to DVCPROHD 1080i 60i and Film 4K.

With such profiling, the synthetic content can be further mixed with other standardized format footage without loss of associated quality or computing resources, as well as further incorporated in a wide range of video production workflows. Example targets are hardware media players and rich web applications, SD and HD broadcast, DVD and Blu-ray media or high budget cinema and visual effects.

The presets (see the attached .zip file) are intended to be placed in the Blender\2.5x\scripts\presets\render folder.

Event Timeline

hi, I'll have a look at this soon, I have the files & will give some feedback.
Thanks for your participation.

hi, the first thing I noticed, probably not your fault, is there's too many options to view & no scroll in the menu.
Thanks. :)

Hi,

The set of presets you find here has been created by using the currently available presets in the

Blender\2.5x\scripts\presets\render

folder as templates, where new values have been supplied, nothing more.

Of course, it would be nice if a more advanced render preset management functionality is implemented. Hope these presets and the relevant wiki page I have created as well at

http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/User:B-tag/extended_set_of_render_presets_for_blender

prove useful for that.

Regards,

b.

Hi,
Due to changes to the api including the merging of bmesh, several addons are outdated.
Please, if you are the author of an addon check your script with blender revision 44256 or newer.
That is builds made After blender 2.62 official release.
I would ask that updates be made to your addon before the Blender 2.63 release.
6-8 weeks away.
This allows time for the api to become more exposed & bmesh to stablize furthur.
If you need help, drop into irc freenode #blenderpython or #blendercoders & feel welcome to ask questions.
At the time of 2.63 release, scripts that are not repaired or in active developement will have their tracker page marked "Closed"
this will not affect your links to the tracker, similar to closing scripts in 2.49b, the page will be still availible & can be re-opened.

Thanks for your understanding & patience during these Exciting Times.
Brendon.
