Blender no longer runs on Windows 2000

Description

I'm wondering if you developers left Windows 2000 behind. The alpha version ran on Windows 2000 but the latest Blender builds, none of them, work on Windows 2000. Please, if possible, release a Windows 2000 32-bit Optimized Build.

Hi,
Officially we stopped supporting Windows 2000. If you really need build for windows 2000, you'd probably better to ask about this in our mailing list (bf-committers AT blender DOT org). But i i'm not sure if it's possible in theory to build current Blender for win2k.
