This adjusts the vertices passed into BM_Make_Ngon to specify winding order to get an ngon that has correct winding. Incorrect winding order was *really* messing up the tool, but with this patch works!

Hi Andrew, can you give some info on how to redo this bug - or a blend file which shows the problem?
I made some mesh with lots of NGons and vertex colors but I couldnt get single face extrude to flip the normals or mess up the vertex colors.
-Make a cube, enter edit mode
-Select at least one face of the cube
-Hit space and choose "Extrude individual faces and move".
-Start moving the mouse
I'm thinking maybe you used "X" (Extrude and move on normals) with an individual face? I guess I should have clarified this only happens when using the "Extrude Individual faces and move" tool, as opposed to X tool with an individual face selected.
Agree with Wiggin.
But Alt E is the problem, not search result.

Exactly, the behavior in the video is addressed by this patch.
It seems Alt-E + choose Individual face is a shortcut for "extrude individual face and move" that I didn't know about.
