Description

Window background color:

I do enjoy using Blender. I was having problems with 2.59 for Mac 64 bit.
•boolean acts differently every time I use it. ( if you click the eye ball it works better but I still need to edit vertices)
•New problem: Background window color is dark medium grey. I changed it to blue green dark color in user prefrences.
(It changed imediately, but I close window with new window and grey is back. So I reset and checked default button to save)
That setting is staying at blue green background color, but the window is still grey. ??

Note****
I have just upgraded to a new hefty mac. Same problems.

I also wonder how to render a descent image. Is there a Bake option for high resolution renders with 2.59

I am using 2.59

also weird images on screen in render view. I get an image on a layer a small helmet that I drew. I look in all the layers and have given up.
I have learned Very much in a week. I wake up and go to bed thinking about blender. I would like to see mac and blender get along better.
I think positive. I dont see the outcome now, but I am getting closer. lol

thanks for the time you put into all you do.
ps I have tried many tiimes to send yo attachment. errors. sorry. will think of a web page to link

Event Timeline

We need to have .blend file demonstrating issues with boolean modifier. And it's no so clear how you're editing vertices when using booleans.
Can't reproduce other issues here (but i'm on linux 64bit).
Probably you'll want to test the very recent 2.60rc2 build from here http://download.blender.org/release/Blender2.60/

Regarding background color, it works for me to change it in the user preferences > theme > 3d view > window background, then press save as default. The other issues mentioned are just too vague for us to understand what is going on. Some of these questions may also be more appropriate for a user forum like http://www.blenderartists.org

Hi, regarding changing background theme.
This works as I'd expect.

For "weird images on screen in render view." - could you please attach or link to an image showing this?

No reply in a week. Closing report

Rick, feel free to provide additional information here in comment when you'll have it.
