bugs with Blender + Radeon9200 aka r200 with open driver
Closed, ArchivedPublicKNOWN ISSUE

Description

I have some bugs with open drvers (2 weeks old cvs copy of mesa and drm).

==1==
When User Preferences pushed in topmost as default scene and screen choiser hides. (see screenshot http://akhil.nightmail.ru/blenderbug.gif )
When I drag window border down all choisers seems as well.

==2==
Just look at screenshot: http://akhil.nightmail.ru/blenderbug2.gif
Safe frame in camera view looks very bad. When I just start blender all seems good. But when I resize window or change screen layout...
When i change resolution of output image frames no chenges, only passepartout works as well.

This is a typical example of bad drivers... afaik you better can use the ones provided by ATI themselves.
There's also a lot of hints on our blender.org -> support -> faq section about gfx issues & linux. Nothing we can do really about it. :)

please confirm that this is still a problem with current CVS builds any unconfirmed bugs by the end of the week will be closed (they can be reoppened though).

Excuse me but I can't test blender with radeon because I chenge it to GeForce card.

This is a generic request to test your bug report and see if it is still an issue in 2.5alpha2 if so please let me know by making a comment in this report ie 'also in 2.5alpha2' and I will add it to the 2.5 bug list.
