Sequence Editor: Offset changes size of image
Closed, ArchivedPublic

Description

Mac OS X Version 10.5.8 Intel Core 2 Duo
Just clicking offset option for image changes its size. Also happened with 2.62., 2.63 as well as latest 2.63a.

Event Timeline

Think you've got image which isn't equal to render resolution (image is missed in attached file).
Such images are getting scaled to render resolution and placed in a way that they fill the frame. But as soon as you're enabling offset that logic can not work anymore and image is displaying unscaled starting from frame's origin (left bottom corner) and you might easily define offset for it. And for sure it wouldn't be scaled anymore so checking Image Offset will change it's size in this case.
Changing this behaior would potentially break lots of files and actually i wouldn't consider this is a bug.

OK I'll try some other images and movies. It had happened with 4 or 5 I'd tried so far. It hadn't happened in previous versions.
