Description
Event Timeline
There's not enough information in this report. Please specify which operation system you're using. And what is more important, please provide minimal sample file which demonstrates the issue and steps needed to reproduce the issue.
Also please notice there's known issue when you're rendering an animation and 3d viewport is visible: http://projects.blender.org/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=29308&group_id=9&atid=498
So please try rendering using single window interface and set Render -> Display to Full Screen to check if you've run in the same issue.
For now marking as incomplete until requested info is provided.
here is a little bit more info, i thought i put this in there, but i guess not, i am going to try what you said, and i will let you know what happens,
thanks.
Operating System
Name Microsoft Windows Vista Home Basic Edition (32-bit)
Service Pack Service Pack 2
Build Number 6002
DirectX Version 11
Hi, i did what you said, i tried rendering in full screen, but it still crashes, so now what should i do? i set it for 200
frames and still crashes, and it crashes with PNG, AVI CODEC, AVI RAW, and I'm pretty sure
that it crashes with all of the output codecs, i hope the next update will fix this. thanks
To fix this we need to be able to reproduce the issue.
To reproduce the issue (as it was already mentioned in first reply) we'll need to have minimal file which demonstrates the issue.
No requested info provided in more than week. Would close the report until requested info is provided.
Things to be tested:
- Try upgrading video driver (there were some crashes on linux caused by multi-threading related issue in nvidia drivers, the same could be in windows drivers as well)
- Try to reproduce on other system (to figure out whether this issue is configuration-specific)
- Try downlaod opengl32.dll from http://download.blender.org/ftp/incoming/softwaregl/ and put it near the blender.exe. It'll switch blender to software opengl mode, which would make interface slower but would help figuring out whether the issue is indeed related on driver/video card.
