This is a very small patch that moves the first reveal of the mask feather to the ALT key instead of the SHIFT key. Shift should be used to make accurate adjustments. Also, currently when revealing the mask feather, all the points move together, which is also the same funtionality as the ALT key has after the feather is revealed. It personally doesn't make sense to have two keys for the same operation at different times.
Campbell suggested that this may have an awkward feel to it. I've been using this for a while and haven't had any issues, but I'd be glad for someone to point out where it would be. The current implementation doesn't make sense, but if there's good reasoning to have two keys instead of one, I'm all for it.
Cheers.

While the current behavior is not ideal, the suggested change is not going to make things easier either:
- It'll break muscle memory of artists
- but what's worse, it'll break mask editing on systems which sues "Emulate 3 Button Mouse"
So thanks for the patch, but it's not really solving solving anything, just changes one issues with another.
