Event Timeline

Unable to confirm this on Ubuntu 12.10 64-bit. Tried both r53580 and latest trunk. Also ran in Valgrind, showed nothing unusual.

Possibly this crash is specific to OSX and/or the graphics drivers. Unassigning self, hopefully someone with OSX can check

Latest svn, osx 10.7, all fine. Make a new build, and verify with the version from builder.blender.org?

Hm, indeed, it happens only with my version here, and only on the macpro. The buildbot version doesn't crash. So I guess it's some kind of building problem on my side.

It appeared to be OpenAL - well, disable and enable again in compiling made it work.
Very suspicious this, we'll keep an eye at it.

Considering reporting a bug with similar issues however, I'm not crashing at extrude. I'm subdividing, then attempting to move new vertex along Y axis. Crashes every time but only on the one vertex. All other vertices behave normally. The subdivided vertex is sandwiched between Two vertices on the same path that are branching off the original trunk line. I don't know if this info comes to bare. Just trying to input potential possibilities! Beyond that, I have no clue.
