Description
Event Timeline
Could not reproduce the crash here. Please attach .exr file which crashes for you. Also, is it intended that Image Input node is not connected at all?
No it should be connected to both output but after i save this file i cannot open it even on computer in my work with blender version 2.65.8 (blender crash instantly after i try open it). 2.65.0 works fine
i will upload few .exr images within a day.(it is image with 2 render layers)
On own exr files this .blend goes OK.
We get regularly complaints from Windows users that the OpenEXR files give issues... but never found how or what.
Also confirm if your test build is one downloaded from builder.blender.org
i am sorry, but i must have deleted .exr files before you ask for them.
And yes. I download blender only from 2 adreses:
http://www.blender.org/download/get-blender/
http://builder.blender.org/download/
Marián, we do need a way to reproduce the issue and so far we can not reproduce it with ow files. It could something specific to files you're using.
Guess you could save other multilayer exr and see if compositor crashes with them and if so upload all files here. If blender wouldn't crash -- well, if you can't reproduce the issue most likely we wouldn't be able either :)
so i re-render 1 frame. play with it for while and it crash for no obvious reason and i cannot replicate it 2nd time. Next step was that i duplicate this frame 160x (simulate animation) import them all as image sequence and blender crashed instantly as i touch slider...
it looks like some memory problem to me...
*.exr that i use can by found:

(frame222.exr (9.9 MB))
PS: excuse my english :)
