There are 3 Scene: Scene.000, Scene.001, Scene.002
in Scene.001 and Scene.002 There are a color strip with transparency (Video Editing)
in Scene.000 Video Editing space were added Scene.001 and Scene.002
When you render in Scene.000 not render the color strip effects

Same with image strips, img_1.jpg in Scene.001 and img_2.jpg in Scene.002 ( Attached img_1 and img_2)
When you render in Scene.000 not render the image

And: when there is not a camera defined in 3D space on any Scene does not allow working with strips
