Blender won't render a mesh.
Closed, ArchivedPublic

Description

--- Operating System, Graphics card ---
Linux Mint 14, 32 bit

--- Blender version with error, and version that worked ---
01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation G94 [GeForce 9600 GT] (rev a1)

--- Short description of error ---
I build a mesh that blender will not render no matter how I try to make it work.
I did strip everything from the mesh and left a simple stretched cube but still I don't get render.
I am attaching both the original design and the stripped one.

NOTE: In the original (made for testing purposes) you can find vertex groups so you can see the various faces
that I created. All the "tools" I used are: Stretch, Grab, "F" for making faces, Duplicated some vertices and moved them around.

IMPORTANT: market.blend is the original file, and try2.blend is the stripped one.

--- Steps for others to reproduce the error (preferably based on attached .blend file) ---
Just hit render. It will not get rendered!

Event Timeline

Ignore this bug. It is invalid. The problem was that I had enabled the Object->Duplication->Face. When set to Object->Duplication->None works.
Thanks to ideasman for the info.
