Event Timeline

Trying to open "User Preferences" also crashes program without ANY error-message at all.

Could not edit, last comment should be read as "user preferences -> system"

Unfortunately, your CPU is just far too old and does not support SSE2 instruction set which is required now. Either use older blender version, or consider upgrading this old CPU or find someone who'll rebuild all libraries we're depending on without SSE2 support.

Also please check on http://www.blender.org/features-gallery/requirements/

Thanks for the report, but it's just unsupported hardware.

Hmm, damn ^^ OK, perhaps u could add a little requirements-test at the start and provide a message?
