I've attached a image to explain that. Hope it is better than explanatory note.

Thanks For your hard works!

Event Timeline

I bet it's not a bug. It happens for the following reasons here:

1. You are using K, which is for soft cut;
2. "Stretch to input strengh" is toggled.

Just try to figure out how speed control works, which can "solve" this, for sure. :P

FYI:
http://wiki.blender.org/index.php/Doc:2.6/Manual/Sequencer/Effects#Speed_Control

Correction: I mean "Stretch to input strip length".

Hi Leon, thanks for the help with investigating this!

Ton Roosendaal (ton) changed the task status from Unknown Status to Archived.Mar 19 2013, 7:48 PM

Ops. That my mistake.

Cuz 2.6 have the different default value With 2.4.

Sorry For That !

Thanks for your reply.

Suggestion .

If we can extend the speed control affect on a "hard cut".
Change movie speed will be more easy understand and controll.
Especially when make the music video.

Sorry. I looked around in the head bar. then Found the Hard Cut (shift+k).
