When working with a large node tree, it's useful to have inputs visible in one view and make links from those nodes where they are needed.
In the development version that is not possible because view autozooms to active node immediately after the node tree changes in some way. Haven't found a way to turn that off. (Cycles material nodes stay put when making links between sockets.)
Blender 2.66.5 r55865. This behaviour is not in 2.66a.
Two images and a .blend in attachments to further describe the issue.
In the .blend file a split view with just one node is shown because Blender doesn't save both views. To test this:
-Open the attached .blend with the development version of Blender
-Zoom other view so that it has render layers node visible and composite node in the other
-Select matching sockets with shift+RMB from both nodes and press F

It's happening when changing any value in the editor it seems - I have 2 node editors open zoomed to different parts of the node tree - as is incredibly useful, and changing some value on one of the nodes in one of the editors is zooming both editors to that point!
It never used to be this way and it awfully annoying behaviour
