Alpha Issue in Combine RGBA node?

Please see attachments. I was just wondering why the alpha shown well in Viewer node, but can't take affect in Mix? Thanks!

Not related to compositor nodes, but the texture nodes.

Yes, I think it's more because of the difference of the "Mix" node between Render node and Texture node. Mix in Render got a "use_alpha" for the second input, while none for Mix RGB in Texture node.

Added the Use Alpha now for texture nodes. Fix in svn, thanks for the report.

It is really great! Thank you. Brecht! Hmm, I bet it even better to add a new one directly from the Texture node mode, which would be of much convenience. Currently it is missing. Or for any reason? (See, attachment.) Although I think it should be another topic. Thanks!
