internal renderer crashes in this scene.

in this old forum post ( http://blenderartists.org/forum/showthread.php?172690-skin-and-hair-shaders&p=1518674&viewfull=1#post1518674 )
i found a .blend file wich i wanted to test ( the first file called "shiny black thing shader.blend" ) , but blender crashed.
i have attached a gdb output in wich i ran a "bt" and i also attached the actual scene file.
i am new to blender source code so unfortunately i cant give you any hints where to fix the bug, but from the gdb output i can tell that "ima" should not be 0x0.

--- Steps for others to reproduce the error (preferably based on attached .blend file) ---

render with internal renderer ( press F12 )
