Closed, ArchivedPublic

Description

--- Operating System, Graphics card ---
Win7 64bit | FX2700M

--- Blender version with error, and version that worked ---
Error: 2.67b
Worked: 2.66a

--- Short description of error ---
I know some big things changed on bevel modifier panel in 2.67, but when using multpble bevel weights on a object, it gives a little bit of unexpected result.

--- Steps for others to reproduce the error (preferably based on attached .blend file) ---
Please see attachments, I hope the picture paints a thousand words.

PS: Actually, it is a reported from the local community by another guy. I just re-reported here.

Howard, can you please check on this?

I'm sorry, but this is approximately "working as intended" so I'm going to close it. The two bevel widths specified (.5 and 1) clash where the edges meet, so the code has to choose one or the other, and it does so. While one could maybe come up with a rule to make it prettier in this case (e.g., always choose the smaller width when such a choice arises), there would still be cases where no consistent choice to make it look pretty exists.
