Blender Render Rendered mode Textures result is much brighter than rendered image and image texture color (looks like added instead of mixed - see image)

1. generate an image texture
2. generate a material conaining the image texture
3. set influence mix 1.0
4. to be sure no other infulences create the color problem remove spec values from material and set a hemi light source
5. set preview mode to rendered
6. to compare the prviewwith the how it should look like image render the same scene using the usual F12

Yes, because cannot calculate "Color Management". I wait fix this issue, but if you "Scene > Color Management > Display Device" set "None", than fix. But don't remember set again "sRGB" when get render.

I cannot reproduce this. When following the steps from factory settings the render result looks pretty much the same as the viewport preview render (minor deviation should not come as a surprise either, the glsl shaders are only an approximation of what the renderer produces).
Please make a .blend test file so we can actually check all the settings that potentially influence this.
