When I record a screencast in quicktime format, I always get a black background
in the recorded video (only in 3d view), regardless of the chosen theme.

The error occurs only with quicktime format. Avi works fine.

This may be due to alpha values, for screencasts or screenshots we should not be reading back alpha from OpenGL.

Fix in svn revision 60402, thanks for the report.
